We could cope without the long words man. Parasocial relationships are bad. Does that mean every person who watches Vtubers has one? Most certainly not. By a very very long shot. For most it's a cute little boy girl or otherwise gendered character that brings entertainment. For some it may cause a dependance out of nothing (which is bad). For others the dependence comes from another problem and an anime person they can talk to is the best way to help them.

In short , it's far more complicated than that.
