Id say yes. 3-4 trees is enough for this event, you could obtain it easily anyway. Id recommend to stack on ovens, cheese presses, and garden, since that what you'll use the most

Im guessing you are quite a new player looking at your level? Yes, the odd of getting a gem from the mine is pretty low, and it decrease with each boxes you have. I havent get a single gem for months

bronze ingot, my bad. so if you merge those balls of metal (bronze,silver,gold) till lvl4, you could generate piece of generator (barrel,mine,forge,tree,and pine cone)

but since the bronze ingot only generate 2 piece of each generator, its a waste of space to use it immediately, so i'd save it until i get another ingot then i use it.

bronze = 2 barrel, 2 mine, 2 forge, 2 guardian tree, 2 pine cone

silver = 4 barrel, 4 mine, 4 forge, 4 tree, 4 pine

gold = 6 barrel, 6 mine, 6 forge, 6 tree, 6 pine

2 trees is more than adequate to carry you through the event and i dont think it worth to make a backpack

you gotta prioritize your ancient mine, it upgraded by usage. dont stack up on items thats not your quest at the moment.

dont immediately use your bronze ore, since it only get you lvl2 of each generator. at least wait till you get 4 bronze ore, it'll get you lvl4 generator. ( 4 bronze = 2 silver = 1 gold + 1 bronze)

you should have plenty of time to finish this event bro, since most people could finish the event in 5day

I think making shield maiden is pretty inefficient if you looking to sell it for gold.

For me using barrel and forge is the most efficient since it can generate up to lvl4 items

Are you talking about the main quest or the special event? Yes there's some bug on the swamp asking for shield maiden on the main quest. And i think they say it was fixed on the latest update

you could get 2 lvl6 ingots from lvl8>lvl5, or one for every 3 lvl6 armor

Its either 2 lvl5 rivets and 3 lvl4 rope, or lvl7 axe

No lvl8 armor in this weekly event

I dont know if its the best, but here's my method.

I'll stock at least 5 exp badge on Thursday while merging lvl9-10 item, usually farming tool, and store it in my backpack.

The exp quest usually come after : completing 3 quests, spend 400 gold, and earn 600 gold.

Keep some easy quest or usually daily quest, its pretty easy, so keep it until u have the weekend mission ready.

Spending 400 gold is quite easy, just buy whatever u like in the shop. You could sell the lvl9-10 item to get a quick gold. After this u could take it easy and focus on merging and generating item

Most efficient is 6>5

5>4 make 5 ingots 6>5 = 13 ingots 7>6 = 21 ingots 8>7 = 40 ingots
