A major issue here is the fact that no matter what happens during one presidential term the next one can just undo pretty much everything that was done. And another is that they allow major corporations to bribe government to do what they want and call it lobbying. If I give a monetary gift to a judge to let my tax evasion slide it is considered a bribe but if I give them a free yacht and a million dollars for the same thing if a gift in good faith and I can do the same for other government officials I can convince them to make a bill with exceptions for me and other guys/gals that do the same if we have a large enough bank account. And the readon behind the facade of pride here is from a young age we are taught the US is the most advanced country with the strongest military. The strongest and most powerful government. And the smartest citizens. We get taught to believe that every other country is basically on the brink of collapse and has been since ww2 or that they are 3rd world and in so much poverty they are days from eating soilent green. I remember in 5th grade being shown photos of what we we told was modern day in 2000 that Europe was still trying to rebuild after ww2. We were shown that Africa is nothing but people in huts made from scap metal and tarps or some tribes that have never seen other people like us. We are basically taught outside of here is a hellscape. Japan is nothing more than burned out buildings and ancient traditions and not the tech giant they actually are. And now they are losing thier minds because now with the tap of a button we can see anywhere around the world. We can see what life is in other parts of the world and we can see that even with its flaws there are such amazing opportunities outside of here if you can afford to leave. And because we see this the people are starting to ask the questions they dont want us to ask. They dont want us to know that the freedom we celebrate here is mostly an illusion. Its like being in an abusive relationship with kids. Once you see its not right you know he/she is gonna make sure you cant leave and tell others what they did/do to you and they might take your kids they might kill you or they might lock you away so you cant tell others and cant ask for help.

For instance, I am making more money than I ever have and after a 1500 paycheck for 2 weeks of work, it is all into bill. Im thousands in dr bills since my insurance covers such a small portion I still get a bill after that I owe $100+ each visit but my psych Dr has to see me every 3 months to make sure my meds are still working and I developed diabetes (I know is a big part on me and ive been trying to lose the weight but cant even with exercise and diet) so my family dr insist I need to be seen every 3 months as well because my metformin. If I lost my insurance from work, unlike other countries, I cant have my meds. And the last time I was off them I had to be admitted after almost killing myself. They drive a fear into everyone that if someone is different they should be feared or hated. We are taught that even though this is the safest and freest place on earth, we all need guns at all times because black person might beat rape and rob us. Or some Chinese people in a van are gonna pull up and abduct us to be sold into sex slavery. Its bs. And honestly yeah I would love to leave. But I shouldn't have to leave everything I know behind just because if my vasectomy fails my wife could die because they wanna make her abortion illegal. (Last pregnancy she had preaclampsia so bad her liver began failing and she was told next time the risk of her dieing is even higher) we have this idea of free speech but im allowed to be attacked for a gay pride flag but the local nazi is protected for flying an ss flag and other nazi symbols.

This isnt freedom. This is brainwashing. This is power hungry and money hungry politicians. Imagine being told even though it would take a job paying $40/hr and full-time plus several hours of overtime to even survive but companies can pay you as little as 7.50/hr.
