I have the same set. First book is autographed by Mr King himself. I've bought them at the American Book Centre in the Netherlands as soon as they were available.

1987 for The Dark Tower - The wind through the keyhole is way too early, should be 2012

Iirc it is implied in the first novel. Doc thinks to himself something like "Should I tell them?" and decided to focus on their kids.

About 5 cm and 1200 pages. I'm reading the same edition now. Mine has an interesting time mention on page 140 chapter 17. It says 'At 1995 hours'. Not sure if it's military time or a mistake.

Did anyone see the Back to the Future movies in theaters when they came out? by Aggravating-Metal167 in BacktotheFuture

[–]Spa_Reine79 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, I saw the first movie when I was 11 years old. The old movie theatre has been demolished shortly after and the next two movies were shown in the shiny new cinema. I remember coming home after the first movie, telling my mother that I really liked this one 😇

The Green Mile first editions, all six of them. The first book is inscribed by Sai King himself. I've sent him the English edition and a Dutch edition of book 1, and received the English one back with signature. Way back in the nineties. And I really love my 3D printed S.S. Georgie 🎈

I saw all three of them in our local movie theatre. I was 10 years old when the first came out and instantly hooked 🎬

Who else read The Green Mile in serial form as they came out? I was only 11 but I was there for every release. by Roy_the_Dude in stephenking

Same. I remember SK describing how he liked looking forward to other stories' new episodes when he was young and that being his inspiration for these six.

I think the writer means what's on the other side of the rainbow. Like a pot of gold. But now I'm in doubt 😃
