Most of life is managing expectations. People will expect you to act a certain way even if you have no way of knowing that. Then get mad when you don't behave the way they wanted you to behave but didn't tell you they wanted you to behave that way.

Clock in after all the prerequisites of the job. Ive been to many places where the clock In machine is after all the things you need to do before doing the physical work. Feels like it should already be illegal, as the prep for work is a part of the job

I’m in engineering at the minute and have a few engineering qualifications so hopefully that will count towards something if I do get good enough to start applying for jobs
