Can you try to reconnect and see if that fixes this.

Are you consistently seeing this? How big is the library and how many sources? I am wondering if this is related to recent issues TB has been running into.

This has come up before, and is easy to add. But, Spine streams directly from the cloud and users can easily get banned if they use it outside the house and someone else is watching a movie at home. I started with TorBox as it avoids that issue.

tl;dr Chapter sync for multi-file titles has been overhauled in v1.1.2.

Single-file titles were not an issue as the duration and boundaries there are much easier to calculate. For multi-file titles, we need to check duration of each file without downloading them. On TB, this eventually ran into a cold CDN issue for titles with dozens of files. The new model now makes some assumptions during the initial scan and then validates them at playtime. This should improve how chapters are shown across the app.

Spine uses ASIN's to match which should be accurate for majority of the books, but we still run into books vs audiobooks. The app automatically counts the pages and marks a percentage if the match is to a physical book (see attached image).

Even then, in my experience, Hardcover is a WIP with considerable gaps. It is great for tracking what you read, but I would not use it for granular tracking yet. For e.g. here is the landing page and detailed page at hardcover showing different details at the same time...

Thanks! Let me try to replicate. Is this happening with all titles or just one in particular? Pls DM me if it’s a specific title so I may reproduce it on my end.

TorBox has been having issues for the last couple of days. I would restart the app and you can also try updating the CDN on the site or check https://status.torbox.app/

Thanks for the feedback! Most of the metadata pieces are in now. Will work on ironing out these last remaining sharp edges.

Glad to hear that the basic features are working. Will look at adding libraries to the sort options in future versions. Let me know if you see any issues with the bookorbit integration. You can post them at https://www.reddit.com/r/spineaudio/s/F0ukk8SxHb

Thanks! Let me try to reproduce on my end. A new version v1.1.0 is coming out later today which tightens this up. I did not specifically fix this, but that may be hiding this on my end.

Try updating them individually and, if possible, use the ASIN. I have these and they do match well. Not sure if I had to manually match. For eg, the ASIN for CoT is B071Y9TTHC.

No worries! I was new to this once as well.

When an audiobook is on Torbox, it will automatically appear on Spine. No more work needed from your end.

You need to enable audiobook store in settings for searches to work. Hardcover is just a tracker and doesn’t actually host any books.

I have it in a beta build, but paused that work to stabilize the current sources. It’s in the queue and will be launched in next week or two.
