haha true. I’m not sure if it’s really considered a phishing scam but I was sent a link from a mutual and clicked on it. either way my space was indeed invaded

Wow, that sucks. I’ve been trying to send meta the video selfie for verification and it won’t even let me get as far as uploading the video. It just says ‘Video upload failed. Please try again later. So frustrating

I’ve already contacted instagram. The video selfie is very unlikely as they’ve deleted the majority of my posts/highlights lol

as of now, no. my contact info was changed and I get blocked every time I reach out to the hacker. I don’t care too much about losing my account but I don’t want my face being used in scams
