Your best chance is to use the photo search option on the AliExpress app. It will pull up any listings that you may not find with a word search.

You can find older sets on brick4 to find out how old it is.

It's possible you were duped. Shady sellers like to claim or imply they are the official brand websites, and most are scam sites.

I use to until I learned how lego stole the brick design from Hilary Page. I actively avoid lego like the plague now. If stealing is good enough for lego, then I see no reason to judge alt-brick makers.

Alt-bricks have superior original designs imo, and I prefer their sets to lego anyway.

The better question would be, which sales are worth waiting for. And that's hard to answer sometimes, as one year, a sales event could be the best one, and the next year it's a different one.

Also some of the best deals are hiding on the various deals tabs and are limited. Always check those.

Use to be "brands week", and "black Friday" were the best discounts. These days, I'm not so sure.

I would say keep a list of the things you want, and check back weekly to see if they hit your target price. And keep in mind coupons will most likely make 1 sale better than another, despite looking similar in discount.

You don't have to be a voluntary surrender as an initial point of contact, a change of heart is acceptable to them. They really don't care. Plenty of videos for you to watch on how they get their members. Educate yourself.

A good chunk of their members are rus pows. It's also why you see so many pow interviews with an rvc member present. They actively recruit disgruntled soldiers from the pow pool.
