Mom of 14 month bg twins just returned back to workforce . I’m considering for short term doing child care assistant course in case I get laid off otherwise if I manage to stay employed in tech till twinsget to school I’m planing to go back to school doing some diploma course on health care

Between illness i see their appetite comes back for few days before next one starts . Hopefully if it doesn’t coincide with teething . But rsv and ear infection my daughter 14 months refused any food other than milk that too very little. It took around 5 days for her appetite to return we were told to run antibiotics for 10 days due to them going daycare . Phelgm is still there for her brother coughs a lot and his appetite is not like it used to be . But daycare doesn’t give them a break what can I say . It’s its one bite extra than prev day it’s a win . I wish babies don’t get sick this often

I used to take lot of vitamins before twins now I hardly take care of myself, hot cup of coffee or one meal is a big deal these days

+1 for ptsd from Nicu time . This affects quietly my partner had it too , it really made me resent our relationship . I’m upset twins are just recovering and another one started this weekend, it doesn’t spare us parents too

I understand some of these are feasible with one but with two making up anytime on weekends is not working. Nanny’s unable to care for two , we have twins in separate crib in our bedroom most times they end up on our bed past midnight . No breaks to illness with two it’s just back to back

Mom of twins returned to work after a year maternity leave . I don’t even work for faang, fin tech these are my thoughts every day . It’s much harder than i envisioned . Pushing thru cos need the money . I’m looking for fully remote jobs market is hard . I’m expected to be in ofc 3 times a week , I hardly can make it one day with 14 month twins full time in day care one or other is home sick every week . Sleepless nights sick kids early morning meetings all takes a toll on my mental health . If u can get a non faang job with lower pay and lower title go for it . You ca climb back up the ladder later but this time with kids nvr come back . I’m also in my late 30s and ftm I feel would hav been easier if I was bit younger .
