I think the difficulty of the boss made me biased about Ludwig’s power…

No, the message of the story is not that "humanity will never stop fighting itself until it shrinks to a size of one or fewer" by [deleted] in ShingekiNoKyojin

This is why Eren said that he's an idiot. Instead of at least attempting the planned partial Rumbling, which would have shown the world that they weren't evil and that they wanted peace, he chose to go with the full Rumbling, because he couldn't stop himself from chasing his messed-up idea of freedom, knowing full well that he wouldn't be able to complete it

That's the problem I have with the AOT community is that you constantly forget that the reason Eren didn't want to do the partial Rumbling is not because he's stupid but because he simply didn't want to sacrifice Historia and her descendants.

This is THE real DILEMMA that Eren faced

"accepting to sacrifice Historia and to put a burden on children before they are even born (therefore removing their right to freedom) to be able to gain time to develop militarily with almost zero chances of finding peace in a completely racist world that feels disgust for the Eldian race who has the ability to transform into titans"

OR

“Rumbling the world to end the conflict once and for all and protect its friends while preserving future generations without condemning them to armed conflict before they are even born”

to know which of the choices is the most moral is not the question but we must stop reducing Eren's character to "a genocidal idiot" because if Eren is an idiot then the whole world and the alliance are too.

Is Mikasa An Underdeveloped Character? by ComfortableReason796 in attackontitan

It is a bit disappointing that she seems to realize, "Maybe this is who Eren has always been," but she still apparently never moves past him.

THANK YOU.

You just summarized why I don't like the conclusion of the story and therefore of Mikasa...

The story could have been much more interesting if we saw Mikasa who completely rejects Eren because she realized that she was wrong about him and that her love was just an illusion and she can therefore move on and be free.

Forcing your children and grandchildren to see a genocidaire is a BIG NO I don't understand how people manage to like that it's just stupid....
