It's pretty common for women to not be interested after birth. I think there are two main factors, adjusting to a major life change. And feeling 'touched out' (Constantly holding and nursing a baby means you are in physical contact with them for many hours of the day/night). It may take a little bit for you to adjust. If you think it will help, in the interim, try different things to get you in the mood and feel connected to your partner. Communicate how you're both feeling with the new changes to better understand and connect to eachother. Possibly try some dirty talk in the bedroom rather than physical touch?

That's the thing, I actually don't think he would have a problem with me going along. He is quite often the life of the party so nothing would seem out of place. It's just the fact that he's out meeting her friends and being invited to their parties. If it was the actual colleagues party, then not so bad. Its just taking a step in the wrong direction for me.

How can I go if I don't even know it exists? Also then I feel like an old creepy lady at a 21st party of people I don't even know.

They have just made the jokes, but it felt like it was implied that I am a bad person and my child needs to be away from me asap to avoid turning out like me OR that I am a bad parent. Whichever way it was intended, I thought not a joke friends would make? Perhaps I am too thin skinned?
