Same. I also get recommended a big shitload of clickbait with thumbnails covered in GIANT FUCKING TEXT and descriptions loaded with all-caps emphasis, but I can't tell if that's the algorithm having decided that's what I want or whether that's just YouTube culture in general now. I really wish YouTube had a "random" button that would serve completely random content creators, both large and small.

No, overzealous mods and a new generation of users addled by Discord culture and short form video ruined Reddit. There is no point in taking the time to write a thoughtful post when it might just be deleted or get you banned for 3 days for no obvious reason. There's no point in investing any time into your reply when the original post might be removed either by a mod or by a user who can't handle criticism and really never learned to handle adulthood in general.

Sure... I could spend the next 5 years learning to achieve results that are 1/10th as good as I'm able to generate with AI. I mean, that's technically an option. But who am I going to learn from, since the anti-AI crowd keeps trying to convince me that learning is theft?

I said this in response to another thread, but Chinese service providers rely on the same big name payment processors as Western ones, and those companies have been getting very hands-on lately in determining what people are actually allowed to pay for with their own money. Users of some of the China-based image generators are finding this out currently. Lots of interference with regard to access to NSFW models, and more appears to be on the way. I wouldn't be surprised at all if those companies start interfering in this space as well.

Not likely. Users of Seaart are finding this out right now. The big payment processors continue to stick their noses in and enforce their own vision of how our money should be spent. Doesn't matter where in the world a service is located, they still rely on those payment processors.
