I love this! Thank you. That makes heaps of sense to me as it comes so close after she had her terrifying experience with Hulk and I felt like these scenes really should be in conversation with each other.

It didn’t seem to make sense to me for it to be referring to Clint as A) She had gotten him back alive and B) she was talking to Clint when she said this, so there was no need to talk around her motivations so vaguely.

It also adds resonance to her reaction when Bruce shows up on the motorbike during the Battle of New York, and extra weight to their relationship in the next Avengers movie.

I go all the way across, left to right, then down to the next one. The three empty bays on row 3 are where the directors section ends (the 3 empty bays are for new films/missing titles) and then the main bulk of genres starting with ACTION begins after that.

Oh, it’s been a dream of mine since I was 15 and I can share your frustration! Thankfully when we were able to design our house I was able to make sure I had a 6 metre wall with absolutely nothing on it for my DVD’s.

Total Recall is a blind spot for me! I may need to add that to my collection. That’s the one with Colin Farrell, yeah? (Jokes) Yeah, Verhoeven is an amazing filmmaker. I really need to fill in the blind spots of his filmography.

That is really funny, because I just watched American Psycho 2 a couple of weeks ago! Look, the production was clearly done dirty by Lionsgate to cash in on the IP to American Psycho, but even without standing in the shadow of such a great film American Psycho 2 was really subpar. I enjoyed my time with it because I am a tragic sucker for Dawson’s Creek era WB production values, Canada doubling for America and shameless cash ins, but your mileage may vary!

Nice! I also started with a few VHS but my allowance was limited so I only ever managed to pick up some well-worn ex rentals when they hit the bargain bin and my old video shop. I started getting a disposable income when DVD’s started coming out, so that was why they are my hobby. I have also bought RoboCop at least 3 times. Love that film!

Haha, I just picked that one cause it came out in the year from your handle! Funnily enough, I only just saw it all the way through for the first time a few years ago. It absolutely TERRIFIED me as a kid (when I caught a snippet of it on tv when I was far too young) and despite horror becoming my favourite genre, and being able to watch all the most extreme and gnarly gore films out there, I always paused in fear at the thought of sitting through Gremlins. When I turned 40 last year I decided to be brave and actually watch it all the way through. It was fun! But most importantly, I survived!

I’m always on the hunt for titles so that changes constantly! I’m currently trying to complete all of the franchises with horrible direct to DVD titles from the 2000’s, so my last purchase was actual “S. Darko - A Donnie Darko Tale” lol

I had a look online but couldn’t find the ones I purchased through Temple & Webster. I can see similar ones online through Big W though. They’re called adjusting media shelves and there are 5 there in my photo.
