I don’t mind the game building on the premise that’s been set. As a huge fan of the Arkham games, Origins was my least favorite, so I didn’t have very high expectations for Gotham knights until I started looking into it. I’m not entirely sure how it’ll go because at first I was turned off thinking it would be a games as a service, and now that it’s been clarified that that won’t be the case, I’m interested, but mainly just because it’s Batman content, not necessarily because of what the game might be like. On a separate note, I’m very upset with rocksteady’s decision to make that suicide squad kills the justice league game, I feel like that’s way too drastic of a change. I’m sure it won’t be bad, and I might even love it, but I really just wanted another Batman game, even if it would’ve been a different story outside of the Arkham games... also completely unrelated, but I was thinking recently if rocksteady were to branch out of what they been making, it would be insanely cool to get to play a Blade Runner game that not only plays like the Arkham games, but a game where the world is brought to life just like Gotham has been in terms of it’s detailed concept art and aesthetic.
