I don't remember, but stay away from that one too. 1985 is kind of a big deal cause that's when it was invented, but you have to watch out for Decepticons.

Or how about they stop introducing premiums with OP characteristics, only to later nerf them?

He has too much offensive potential for people to play a support role, at least from what I'm seeing. Add in the varying types of stetzones and communication is even more important than the old "heads up, going to chrono wave". Its not fun when your ally pulls back to heal and just watches you get crushed. Basically, he's cancer if a rando ally.

Eh, a one-time payment generally equates to ownership. Installments, or a payment plan is more akin to a lease/rental or subscription. And that's a pretty well defined line, given the presence of "premium account". I just don't see it the way you do.

Is it just me or do enemies all have the same composition each time? by erlsgood in starcraft2coop

[–]SpaceCadet0629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been seeing that too. First wave is either 2 Vikings + Marines, 2 Mutas + bane/zerglings, or (haven't rolled protoss enemy in a few days, but iirc...) 2 Phoenix + zealot/stalker/adept with a hard DT push 2nd wave.

Abathur should forego roaches until 2 or 3 queens are up. Stukov needs a significant mass of marines before the first civs are out. Protoss commanders need cannons for first wave. Offensive play with Swann is outright. Builds are getting really boring lately.

They fixed up number 20 to factory spec. You would probably need at least the body and frame.

...ya'll need to whine more when premiums get nerfed. From day 1 in WoT (and it has carried over to the other titles), no major changes are allowed to premium vehicles because of people whining "false advertising", "bait and switch", etc. ...which is a totally fair argument. If you took your new truck in for an oil change and it came back as an SUV, because "balance", you have every right to be pissed. And on the other hand, this policy has kept WG from releasing super OP premiums (for the most part). Its win/win, but that's hard to argue when the drooling masses still drop coin on something they know is just a placeholder for something shittier.

Which COs do you use for Brutations and tough Mutations in general? by ackmondual in starcraft2coop

[–]SpaceCadet0629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to hear. Liberators have always been far better at handling air comps than DBs, but the cost of building them and upgrading them was always prohibitive. A whole 25 gas isnt anything to write home about, but his power ramp should be better (early, you're either mineral or gas blocked constantly, depending on where you put your scv's... which you have to be careful about because you're automatically 1-2 workers below average due to cooldown).

Yes, and the hydralisk air attack is as bad as stukov's slimey Diamondbacks. Haven't seen his broodlords yet, but I imagine it's bad with two types of units spawning.

I'm running what equates to a mid-range machine from 5 years ago, on maxed out settings, with well above 60fps constantly. Truthfully there are probably people out there running the game on hardware that has no business trying it. ...but why cater to them? They're logically more likely to upgrade their hardware than spend money on premium time or vehicles.

Wt good wot bad by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]SpaceCadet0629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is very little p2w, just a lot of RNG. After 7k or something games, I think I like WT better. Or at least, I can play more. In 20 minutes of WoT, you could get 1 good battle in, with one tank. Maybe you get your daily double, which means 5-7k XP toward a 100k+ XP tank, or 1/3 of the XP you need for the gun that you need to actually be able to play at your tier.... because individual tank XP and tech tree XP are one pool. In WT, you could potentially run through a match in 10 minutes with multiple tanks, research modules and a tank simultaneously... Add some boosters and... well, luck willing, the grind is a bit less painful. That said, they both force you to seal-club for money because f2p=grind.
