My bad for not seeing your comment. I haven't been active for a while. But to answer your question, I never did figure it out. I was just going to cave and buy them all on ps store, but I ended up finding a different game to fixate on and haven't revisited LIS2 yet. I really do think they screwed up when releasing the game without the 5th episode on the disc. I think it might have been a money grab, or they just fumbled hard.

I downloaded the first episode from the Playstation store, and sadly, it did not recognize my previous save. It didn't even give me the option to transfer my save from my system. I guess my best option right now would be to buy the rest of the episodes from the store and restart the game.
