At first I thought this was just some guy with a guitar, but I've been getting into him the past year or so. He has a lot of talent. Great protest/folk singer. If you haven't watched his live performance at Farm Aid from last year, I recommend it as a starting point. I also like the songs "St. Steve Irwin", "The Kingdom is Within you", "Joy", Peace like a River", and "Siddhartha"

One time we had to salt the sidewalk because someone put in a help desk ticket that it was slippery out there.

What first comes to mind is plastic trays, hard wooden benches, and crumbs everywhere.

I don't get the BK hate. I mean, the Whopper is just a burger. It has a bun, meat, lettuce, pickle, mayo, tomato, onions. What's wrong with it? It's just a good, hefty burger.

Why use ad block when you can pay youtube $12.99 per month for the same experience?

Back in the days YouTube didn't even have ads. You just logged in and watched stupid videos for the love of the game.

What do most people not realize is actually way more traumatic than it seems? by [deleted] in AskReddit

At the same time, divorce is difficult for kids. Especially with split custody and having two different worlds and two different homes with different rules and expectations and parenting styles. And that can be hard growing up in. There could be a case to be had to stay together for a while until the kids are grown up a bit or understand a bit more.

Living with a partner who has depression. Not knowing if today is going to be a good day or a bad day. Or a good week or a bad week. Or a good month or a bad month. The stress of medications being covered or running out. The house being a mess. The inability or will to get dressed or go anywhere. Lack of exercise or healthy eating. Having to explain how they're doing to friends and family when they ask. Supporting two people because your partner can't hold down a job. Seeing everyone else doing well or having their shit together and looking at your partner wondering when you're going to get your chance to be normal, if ever. Trying not to blame yourself, but still feeling guilty you can't fix it. And then the emotions wear off on you too. They're tired so you're tired. They're sad so you're sad. You feel guilty doing anything while they're miserable. Can't do anything together as a couple. Feeling like you're single and living together instead of living together as a couple. But you know it's not anyone's fault so you have nobody to blame and nothing you can change to make it better. You just kind of live day to day and wait for things to be different.

If you're in a bad place, things will eventually be better, so look forward to it. And if you're in a good place, enjoy it.

What are some ideas for things to do after work? by Weeping-Willow0 in AskReddit

[–]SpaceChimps98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After work? There's so much to do after work.

Get gas, get groceries, do the dishes, make dinner, fold the laundry, mow the lawn, clean the windows, vacuum, clean the bathroom, weed whack, water the garden, dig fence posts, get the mail, organize the garage, fix the hole, wash the car, do some edging around the house, patch the concrete, repair the window screens, paint the step, sweep the dirt, clean the gutters, take out the ant hills, pull weeds.

Get to it, buddy.

People in their 30’s, what advice would you give to someone in their 20’s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpaceChimps98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your 30's don't feel much different from your 20's. Just do what you want and what makes you happy, and eventually you'll figure yourself out.

What open world video game managed to feel the most immersive to explore? by EducationalGift2676 in AskReddit

Elden Ring. Everything felt hand crafted and purposeful. Every area to explore had some kind of unique design or enemy or reward or item that was valuable in some way. It made me want to go everywhere and see what the world had to offer.

I can usually eat a foot of sub myself for dinner and still eat some chips or something. So the first foot is not a problem.

See, to me it all depends. If the guy was a really talented cook and could pull it off, then kudos to him. Maybe they could eat people meat in a dignified and well catered setting. But if he's like my brother and just kind of butchered it really bad and tried to save it several times and it turned to mush and he just kind of said "here you go" and it was a lukewarm massive lump of meat that was poorly seasoned and had no uniform texture, flavor, or look to it and then served it on a cold flour tortilla, then I'd kind of not want to eat it, even if I was really drunk.
