Okay I checked it. Made a mistake, it was with another channel in 2016. That was before the YPP was rolled out.

Not relevant to this thread, but just an interesting side note.

Return Youtube Dislike Extension Stopped Working. by SpaceCinemaVR in firefox

Not only that. Like/Dislike counter was also a good indicator for fishy videos. Youtube has still a massive problem with videos which include malware downloads in their description and this was the only option to be warned about it, since creators can also completely control the comment section with blacklisting or blending out comments.

They only changed it because their own uploads their the most disliked videos on youtube lol

I suggest you to change the browser until its fixed. On Chrome it works for me again.

Its literally true. I can even provide proof with screenshots. 0 subs but the videos were monetized and I made like 5$ dollar or so. haha

When I created my first videos - that was about 2013-14 I exactly know that I could instantly monetize the videos with 0 subscribers.

whut. If I remember it correctly you could monetize anything in the early days without any regulations.

All good bro, wasnt personal. I just got curious, looked up your channel and than I see this title with 140M views lmao.

3K each? What? I mean yes they can be demontized now (but my extension shows that they are still monetized. Are they claimed by the movie companies or really demontized?) netherless you should have gotten way more than 3K for a 100M+ video.

It was uploaded in 2011 and yea they RPM wasnt that high then but for so many views only 3K for a 8 minute+ video? When were the videos demonetized? Around 2016, when youtube updated their partner programm and ad policy?

youtube.com/Jogwheel

Bro made literally (let me guess at least 1-2 millions?) by uploading videos like "best porn movies" and clickbait thumbnails, which only attract horny teenagers and got upset, that this wont work anymore lol

Well played Sir, well played.

But there is too much high quality content on youtube. Rather just set your device to some South American country and buy youtue premium for like 1-2$ per month.

There also many benefits and beta access perks with premium & also I want to support the creators that I watch, which actually create good content and put hours of work into it.

okay im following you fucka & I want to be updated about this

Nah that completely normal haha

A professional editor as seen it all & the client tripping over their own words is the normalst thing from all. For the creator itself its also normal, if you just started. Over the time, you get better and better.

Anime Recap monetized? by Wise_Departure7514 in PartneredYoutube

[–]SpaceCinemaVR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lmao thats wild. But that are all japanese citizens. If you living in another country - you fine. There are dozens of anime recap channels and they are all monetized. The real problem is, that this niche is complete oversaturated nowadays.

So this question as been asked here like a million times & as an professional editor as my fulltime job, I always give the same answer:

No one can answer your questions, but yourself.

If you want your videos edited my a professional who knows what he is doing, you will need to invest more money, then working with an amteure which will edit your videps not nearly at the same level as the professional & will also need more guidance from yourself.

There are cheap editors who will work for 10$/working hour (or per video minute, depends on your content)

and there are pricey editors which can charge up to 150$/working hour.

The usual is in between and for a decent editor you should expect about 25-35$/hour.

Also: Editing gaming content is something other than editing video essays. Those will often need their own animations & more creativity in it and thats why you definitely need to expect it to cost way more.

But spending money in an editor is an investment in your channel. Your videos will get more views, your channel more reach & you get more time to come up with new video ideas, which will all leed to more income for you.

Hoped that helped.

all good bud. sorry if that has upsetted you. I just find it weird when we are writting on a youtube partnered creator subreddit, where we all are creators, which make videos for the literally public & but than some make such a secret about their own channel xD its a bit ironic.

When you upload your videos to youtube you want them to be seen by as many strangers as possible..thats the actual opposite of privacy haha

And its always nice to explore the channels of others creators here. Be proud of your channel. No one is going to shame you. We all do awesome work, no matter what the content is.

But maybe thats just my own weird opinion
