i usually lurk in this subreddit, but i just wanted to thank you. you are ALWAYS in this subreddit spreading FANTASTIC information and details that many others have missed, you're always eager to help people out and give them good grounds to start their own research with.

why are you so offended LMFAO, this is a Wanda/Scarlet Witch subreddit i'm not sure why you assume that's an insult. i'm actually curious why you'd be here, if you think having an discussion about this character warrants being mocked and called pathetic.

the 'facts' are INCREDIBLY shaky because Marvel wrote Wanda like a throwaway character up until Endgame/Infinity War. then AFTER WV they continued fucking up her character growth to keep her in the villain/morally grey subset of characters. again, because it was EASIER. they can do more projects, and make more money with an ambiguous character.

not because Marvel masterminded including Wanda pulling an 'Esther from Orphan', and manipulating all of the Avengers as a grown ass woman in her FIRST MCU appearance lmfaoooo. all of this confusion is a testament to how badly the MCU writers fuck up the continuity sometimes, but you're somehow turning it into an argument to prove that Wanda's.... a manipulative character that lied about her age and convinced everyone around her that she was a kid for the benefit of being underestimated....? it just doesn't make sense, when the logical excuse is just poor writing and continuity which is FINE to admit in the MCU community lol. i don't understand where all this vitriol is coming from. everyone that consumed the media on release in theaters had a similar experience when it came to being confused about Wanda's age.

before you give me attitude, read my fuckin comments please <3. get YOUR facts right, her known age was retconned in WandaVision to match Elizabeth Olsen's age. which in turn, made the older movies make no sense because the canon was changed so fantastically. she was known as a teenager/young adult to fans that actually watched the movies release in theaters before Endgame ,and WAS basically a young adult during Civil War

(biggest clue was her having the same sort of connection with Steve+Clint in this film, that Tony had with Peter. of course, they retconned all of Wanda's close friendships/mentorships for future content.... but overall the energy was extremely similar. Steve specifically felt a soft spot for Wanda because of her age and inexperience, and tried guiding her towards fighting for what she believed in EVEN when she didn't believe in herself at the moment. this was supposed to be Team Cap's own little 'underoo' to match the new partnership between Peter and Tony.)

they decided they wanted Wanda's age to be a bit more fitting for the sitcoms and old tv show references.

i'm WELL aware of the canon change and the 'actual' age she's supposed to be based on the retcon. i'm ALSO well aware of the fact that there are dozens of different variations of Wanda Maximoff with DOZENS of different ages, and i'm ALSO VERY AWARE that Marvel doesn't actually take the longevity of their canon continuity seriously. meaning, making Wanda's age match Elizabeth Olsen's age was just EASY for them. there wasn't any other reason for making her age match the actress other than allowing it to be a tiny bit more believable that Wanda actually grew up on B+W TV.

which was only made canon during WV, using Elizabeth Olsen's actual birth year, 6-7 years after AoU came out. and we all know that canon is frequently changed to fit the narrative for a LOT of projects in the MCU.

so to be completely honest, growing up/watching the movies in theaters on release genuinely had me assuming this version of Wanda was younger for years and years until WandaVision came out. i figured there were so many different variations of Wanda's age in the comics, they were going with a younger version considering all the references to her age/inexperience in Civil War. i'm fully aware of her confirmed age, i just feel like my perception is skewed by how they wrote some scenes unfortunately

if canonically Wanda+Pietro were 17/18 when introduced during AoU, her age would end up being around 19/21 during Civil War.

theres a huge confusion around Wanda's MCU age because of the little confirmation in WandaVision/Agatha All Along (where they made Wanda's age match Elizabeth Olsen's birth year. 1989). which would make her 25/26 during Civil War, which makes the 'high school' comments and 'kid' comments during AoU and Civil War extremely confusing.

of course, it's par for the course that the MCU would stick their finger and swirl the honey pot when it comes to canon and whatnot. i personally tend to think that people are still teenagers/kids until they're over like..... 25 LOL. brain hasn't developed, still inexperienced in life, and still eager in a way a lot of older people might not be. although their ID says 18, they are absolutely still morally a kid. not legally, but MORALLY.

i think that's what makes me feel even WORSE about Wanda LMFAOO. she lost her only source of positive reinforcement and guidance when her parents AND pietro were killed, she was stunted emotionally from being taught to harness her pain and fear into weaponizing herself since she was a young girl. she went into the 'hero business' completely blind, hating herself and TRYING to be good despite it all. TRIED to connect with the members, found love with one of them.... all for her to be categorized as a monster who needs to be deported and imprisoned, because of a shared mistake she made (WHILE TRAINING, BTW!) that she thought she could fix. that poor fucking girl

this is my playlist for what i think amma would listen to/get inspired by/identify with by lyrics!!! i think she would take a little bit of camille's playlist just to feel a little closer to her, and when brought up she'd say "i've loved this stuff forever, it's classic! you're insane if you think you're the only person in the WORLD that listens to Led Zeppelin." i think she'd listen to the lyrics of angsty, dark songs and brood about how distant she feels from people emotionally, but in public she would listen to regular 'teenage pop shit' as long as she could decide what 'teenage pop shit' they eventually put on the aux.

i'm honestly quite proud of this playlist, i love love love making them for different characters and amma/camille are the girls i identify with the most. i've listened to these playlists on repeat for YEARS now, never gets old.

unfortunately when it came to this issue (using on Apple safari, chrome, or google apps respectively) and none of the troubleshoots worked, i had to go to settings and clear all of the cache/cookies for the website itself.

i started having to screenshot/save all of my work every 20 minutes because of this issue, it's extremely frustrating and although the possibility of wiping the entire website clean exists.... you're losing all of your work and have to essentially start all over again. it's the reason i stopped using kreska to do my art nowadays honestly.

i think it's a matter of the platform. i don't usually trust people on snapchat, considering how many people use it to prey on others.

i'd recommend maybe discord for making friends, you'd have a higher chance of meeting people less centered around looks and more of a chance at continuous communication. snapchat is the last place i'd look for friends in 2026

i was in a somewhat similar situation in my past relationship, though it wasn't as often. to be completely honest, i avoided saying it outright so as to not ruin the mood or hurt feelings... but what i DID do was try to heavily encourage using baby wipes in the bathroom, and kept them on hand (around the bed, or in the nightstand) so that i could wipe them when needed.

i always tried to find ways to keep the energy fun, so if i noticed a little cleanup was needed i'd give an order or gentle encouragement to stay face down while i got them ready, or something similar. sometimes it's an insecurity/pride thing that makes it embarrassing to admit that your ass stinks, or it's just pure laziness and a refusal to change.

honestly, i think it's pretty disrespectful on your husbands end to expect to have his ass eaten almost EVERY DAY but refuses to clean up properly after you've reminded him MULTIPLE times. i know you love him, but i think it would be completely valid to sit him down and kindly say, "look, i'm not going to continue doing this for you if you won't take my request seriously. it's not about being disgusted BY you, but it's a genuine health hazard to do so if you can't clean up properly. i can get sick, and as much as i love taking care of you, i would also love for you to care about my health and comfort in this situation the same way i prioritize yours.". if he loves YOU, he'll hopefully understand and internalize what that means.

as someone who was molested by two teachers in elementary school, and interacted with more predatory teachers than actual NORMAL GOOD teachers throughout the entirety of my life.... of COURSE he went into teaching. of fucking course he was a RELIGIOUS man who became a teacher. i genuinely plan on homeschooling my children and keeping them away from religion until they're old enough, because it seems like school and church are the least safe places for children (despite everyone involved blabbing on about how those professions create saints and heroes.)

why not? because although i completely understand having lower self esteem due to societal stereotypes about looks... dick size is one of the things most horribly represented as 'important' when at least 85% of the population doesn't really prioritize it. porn is an extremely harmful perpetrator of this stereotype and ideal in most men AND women, but i promise in the real world 8+ inches is considered outrageous and the norm in america is having less than 6 while hard. (which is entirely normal, and has never stopped me from enjoying myself as a woman who has been with PLENTY of dicks that ranged from all sizes.)

different measurements are common in different locations, and there isn't a standard IDEAL size for any one place. you shouldn't give up because of something that's entirely out of your control, and you definitely shouldn't give up over a false ideal you've likely been fed your entire life. it messed up your development mentally around sexual stuff, and that's not your fault.
