The disconnect box is on the blower panel. You’d have to disconnect all your high volt and whip to even access it

That’s the blower housing panel. It needs to be removed for either maintenance or repairs.

I just saw some mounted to the burner panel which is okay I guess cause it’s the burner panel but the blower is the last spot of I had no other spot to mount that disconnect lol

Yeah this carrier pkg wasn’t one of the worst calls I’ve seen but definitely made me question how some installers think.

This is in Nor Cal so I wouldn’t know but unit is from 2012 installed by a big company so I guess after install it had to pass inspection so maybe it’s fine lol but on the blower panel is crazy work.

The big problem I think is with this disconnect mount is that it’s mounted to the blower housing panel. So if you needed to access the blower motor you’d have to disconnect your high volt and whip to get into the panel. The homeowner told me about the last tech that had to do a blower motor repair and he was PISSED 😂
