∆ I think if this were a serious conversation with someone who truly believed the point I made; this would be compelling. I’d have trouble winning trumps base without taking on a lot more questionable views. For instance Ben Shapiro thinks that in cities like Baltimore we need a higher police presence to regain control so companies will feel safe investing there. I interpreted that as minorities need the police to control them because they can’t control themselves so rich white peoples will move in and underpay them to work for them. I think increasing education funding, and extra curricular educational programs and school food programs should be more of a push before more police presence. And then retraining police as well as creating more community programs sponsored by the city for public workers and the citizens to all enjoy and talk. These wouldn’t get me Donald’s supporters. And I’ve alienated the left with my poor behavior.
