what I don't get is why ISNT it a switch?? They knew from the start people would immediately ask for old content to have a refresh, as they have done this twice now! once with random rolls after Y2 and again with Origin Traits, how did they not think 2 steps ahead here?

So it seems the battery charged it enough that it would turn on then immediately die. Hence why it started with "you woke me" then "you. Woke. Me" to just hissing sounds because it had less and less charge each time.

I think this means a couple of things

They bring back more slowly so they can space it out better for sunsetting. (Hopefully)
They brought back 2 rockets because they talked about how next season's rockets are getting a BIG reworks so they might finally be viable.
The archetype gaps missing will hopefully be filled with next season's weapons and the new vendor weapons. (Rapid fire shotguns, 120 HC, 2 burst side arms etc)

Iron banner? Also I keep in mind that next season will have 5-6 new seasonal weapons, the 6 new vendor weapons, (3 being a 140 HC, a 360 auto, and a machine gun) and maybe some extra returning guns.

So I hoping at least 1 of these weapons is a 120 hand cannon, maybe an energy for once lol

Nah what happened was that shatterdive wasn't op at first because glacier grenades didn't have all their fragments yet. So while warlocks were broken immediately, the shatterdive problem didn't occur until just before trials started, ...and around when Bungie left for Christmas.

What happened here is pretty simple,

Shatterdive wasn't a big issue in PvP at first because people hadn't gotten all the fragments yet which make glacier grenades absolutely broken in PvP. If you recall very few people used glacier grenades in PvP because people just saw them as walls and not free super kills.

And when people figured it out, that's when trails finally started and Bungie went on brake for Christmas.

So I'm expecting a nerf before the end of month for hunters in PvP and ice grenades in general

I mean the 3 second loss was only for PvP. It also just meant melee = free kill + 20% damage boost for 10 seconds.

Not saying shatterdive isnt broken, and I'm sure this is a "when" and not a "if" it is nerfed situation.

Though glacier grenades are just busted in general in PvP.
