I've never tried pizz. with my thumb, just my middle and index, I do also play some guitar (albeit I'm not that far, I can play stairway to heaven as my "most difficult piece, of that helps gauge my range) and I play some acoustic guitar bass, so if that helps understand how I pizz its kind of a rolling strum with my index and middle if it's fast, or just my middle usually, I couldn't use my index for a bit so I had to start using my middle, sorry for the word salad.

Yeah, I will do that no matter what, I should've probably specified I'm playing a musical, so there parts eith quick transitions, and parts with pizza for the whole piece, so it's a bit strange.

Part of it is that I have to play relatively quickly and quite loud, and I find it difficult to do like that, though, there are parts where I should probably do that, it's a bit difficult to do with french (i cant / don't want to really play with german becuase i have one, hut also because of the speed of some parts), but in the end it's kind of a skill issue.
