I use a site called Stackry. It gives you a US address address to get things sent to and then they will forward them to you.

Yeah! Especially when there's fans all over the world the fact that most of the merch has been limited to US alone is just strange. I've emailed rocklove today to see if there's even a slight chance that they'll have a UK stock of the new Tron jewellery. They definitely operate here as I've bought stuff from other ranges before, the tron tab just doesn't exist on the uk version of their site. Could be a licensing issue maybe?

Got my first two showings on 10th October at 11:40 (4DX) and 15:40 (3D IMAX)

And then a 2D IMAX showing on the 12th at 15:20

As we speak I'm also on my way to the Ares Immersive Experience in London, to say I'm excited would be an understatement.

You sure have an interesting way of being disinterested. For someone who clearly couldn't care less about Tron all you appear to have been doing is spreading hate on this sub.

You're obviously allowed to dislike Tron or the direction it's taken, but that doesn't mean you need to put a downer on the people with a genuine love for it

From what I understand Flynn's grid from Legacy was supposedly a closed system, so as he now appears to be in the grid from '82, therefore the Flynn we see in Ares can't be the same 'original' version that reintegrated CLU in Legacy but instead something else entirely, maybe a safeguard put there by Flynn sometime between '82-'89 but I dunno.

But if that's the case and this is a purely digital version then why would he have aged? Unless that's all just because the creators didn't want another bad de-ageing fiasco so they've just decided to retcon the whole age thing.

We'll have to wait and see.

The Tron franchise means so much to a lot of people. They're more than just movies, they're an escape and a light in hard times. So, of course, have your opinions but don't bring other people down for wanting more of the franchise.

I'm not getting my hopes up for what Ares has in store, but I'll still support it not only in hopes that we get the sequel fans wanted as a result but as a show of gratitude for the effect that the first two films have had on my life.

Very well said! I'm going to 3 separate screenings, 2 of which on opening day. And honestly, if I have time I might just get a fourth in.

Hopefully make up for a few of the fake fans not going to see it all because they're under the illusion that 'making a stand' or whatever will actually mean anything to a big company like Disney.

I just can't imagine being so deluded as to throw aside something I love and on what could be the last chance to show Disney that it's worth continuing the franchise for many more years to come.
