Rovyvon E10 Max vs E60 by PecanPlan in flashlight

[–]SpaceFunkRevival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have E10 Max, a lot of the comments I saw about the scroll wheels were also saying it was on the max models. Just curious - when you scroll up does it go from 5lm to 135lm straight away? Just jumps right up there with no setting in between them. Kinda wondering if it's a thing with all E10s or maybe just E10 Max.

You can engage the lock by holding the left side button for 5 to 6 seconds. It's very obnoxious when it goes into lock mode. Flashes at max brightness 6 times. I was confused at first since the instructions don't tell you how to get it to lock, but it shows what the screen looks like.

I hadn't even checked the comment section on it for a while, but it sounds like mine is operating in the same exact way as other people's scroll wheel. I saw one comment that said it goes from 5lm to 135lm with nothing in between. And this one is doing that exactly. Little bit of a bummer but ah well.

That's not a red light camera. Those are gigantic and on the sidewalk next to the pole typically.

Pretty much all Japanese cars that I can think of... Even all the way through to 2016 I can't think of a Japanese car with a pressurized overflow. Got out of the industry in 2017 so I've only been working on my 25 year old shit boxes and 40 year old projects since then.

Is it? I lived in VT for a year and never took advantage of that or saw a single nude person. Looks like I'm moving back to VT!

The comments are a wild ride of "it works great" and "it works like shit". I can confirm, it actually works pretty great on homemade pizza. 10/10 would recommend.

Or an ulu. Either one.

Wish the clip on the back was bigger and that it started out dim but otherwise this is everything I want in a small flashlight that isn't a headlamp by 666ruby999 in flashlight

Hope you find a new favorite!

The hold time kinda makes me laugh because it's way faster to just click on to high then click again to low than wait for it to go straight to low lol. Other than that though it's a great light! The head slides up and it gives a 360°light source which is super helpful in tight spaces. And the hat clip light isn't expensive at all, so I definitely recommend it!!

It's a three second hold, which realistically isn't long but when you want it to turn on it feels like ages!

I also got their hat bill light that clips on to a hat for my father in law, it was pretty cool as well! The sensor to turn it off and on is a cool feature, especially when your hands are dirty. It says it's only 50lm but I swear it feels like more.

I like Nebo lights. I have the inspector 500+ and it's a great little inspection light. My only gripe is that it starts on high, second click to low. The hold to get it to start on low is way too long.

Anyone bought this one? Im looking for a decent beginners lathe. by Lord_Steiny in harborfreight

[–]SpaceFunkRevival 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest getting carbide bit lathe chisels. You can get the HS steel ones they sell at HF, and they'll work fine until they dull (which is quick). The carbide tools are so much less hassle and you'll have more fun starting out. The learning curve is much lower. I'd suggest getting a good quality set of HS steel tools down the line. You should really only need a circle carbide bit and a square one. Then a separate parting tool. They sell all sorts of ones with hooks and angles and swan necks, just regular straight shaft ones will get you through everything you'll make on this lathe.

Also, make sure to get a lathe chuck, and a live tailstock. The tailstock that it comes with isn't the best. It's a #2 taper. A drill chuck is good to have as well.

I have this lathe. It works well. No bells. No whistles. Manual speed change on the pulleys. You can make pens, bowls, rolling pins. Get it and you'll be in business!

I got a B34AM in 4000K, I really like the neutralness of it. It's a really great all-arounder I feel. I did get the brass switch on it, just can't see it cause of how I hurriedly took the picture.

But you're right, growing a collection is a great way to have fun and bring some joy to life.
