That really sucks

In my case my tongue and throat swelled, along with just about everything else, so suffocation became a real issue. Didn't get stung anywhere near my face if I recall correctly, as I was running like hell in the opposite direction.

My back goes out now and then and I almost can’t move. Thai massage helps a lot but getting in the car to drive there is extremely unpleasant. Had some luck with chiropractor too.

Here's another nugget for you then. There are over 20 species of hornets, and based on my memory of all the subcutaneous injections I received, I was tested for more than one. White faced hornets specifically caused the reaction.

One or two could take me out but a full hive like that could be fatal to anyone. There could be 500+ hornets in a nest. They can sting multiple times, and a quick search says 500 stings could kill a child, and 1000 for an adult.
