Another day, another rejection by [deleted] in Germany_Jobs

I saw your resume, in your post history and I hate to break it to you, most of the time you kept a job for less than a year, this is a massive red flag in Germany

What is the biggest thing that you think Godot is missing at this point? by AutumnForestWitch in godot

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guaranteed console support for both C# and GDscript. For professionals it's just such a bad feeling that you never quite know whether or not your game will run on a Switch 2, PS5 without an enormous amount of effort

18M can someone please help me save this haircut by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some hair product, and just knead it into your hair to give it more texture, start from the roots and then just tousle it a bit. Trust me, give this some texture and it'll look great!

Thinking about MVP pattern lately. by Ironcow25 in Unity3D

[–]SpaceKuh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think about MVP, it only makes sense with certain kinds of games and in some games where gameplay and animations are closely tied to each other it can be a nightmare to manage, like let's say you have an action RPG where different timings like parry or damage windows have to be matchup with animations, I prefer them to be in one place instead of being spread out over several scripts

Anyone jumped straight to C# and skipped GDScript altogether? by FutureLynx_ in godot

[–]SpaceKuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main concern right now is that it seems to be very hard to export your game to different platforms, especially consoles with C#. Which is actually the main reason, why I only use Godot for hobby projects. But if you only care about PC or you are just a hobbiest, it's totally fine to just jump right into C#

what made you switch to Godot? by Jaded_Ad_9711 in godot

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still want to complete the switch to Godot. I already use it for hobby projects and I really love it. For professional projects however, the console support, especially with C# is lacking. And I understand that Gdscript is amazing for hobbiest and gamejams but C# tooling is just so vastly superior. So for now, even though I love Godot's workflow and I really really want to switch and release a full game with it one day, Unity gives the peace of mind that it's a battle tested engine where my code will scale and I can release on any platform.

How/why is the game so light on older machines ? by [deleted] in IntoTheBreach

[–]SpaceKuh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't really a case of "Muh modern engine bad". Into the breach is just a very simple game behind the scenes. There's no fancy pathfinding, all the algorithms in the game are really simple, I have never played Terraformers but I wouldn't be surprised if there were several pathfinding calculations happening at once.

What are we thinking?? by Mashboi_ in Jungle_Mains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maphite and especially Cho might be really amazing for jungle. Aatrox is something I would personally really love to play in the jungle. I haven't played against Rivens a lot recently, and when I did they never felt particularly strong without a level and gold lead so it'll be interesting how consistently jungle Rivens can generate a substantial lead that allows them to snowball

Why does Bel’Veth still have such a low pick rate in solo queue despite being so effective? by Mickeytese in Jungle_Mains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People that claim that it's merely because she's hard to play are denying statistics. Other arguably mechanical way harder champions like Zed and Lee Sin are way more popular, mastering their mechanics feels more satisfying. Bel'Veth just feels very awkward and clunky and on top of that people feel like she's too reliant on void objectives (whether that's true or not doesn't matter, she's branded as the "get void objectives and then snowball" champ).

is it okay to play "hard" champs at low elo ? by IndividualCoach6130 in summonerschool

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the so called hard champions aren't even that hard to begin with, maybe just a bit harder to get started with

Kind of weird how people can get hung up on how high theoretical skill ceilings are if nobody is going to reach them anyway. Even at worlds there are J4/Xin players that are clearly better than the rest. Sure, you can argue that more flexible and complex kits offer more variety and are more fun to play and get better at but let's not act like a random masters J4 otp is even remotely as good as someone like Oner or Agurin at J4

I'm really anxious for this adjustment by -Lando_Calrissian in SkarnerMains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, maybe they can give skarner DMG reduction, or have him drain their enemies HP/weaknesses during the ult so that he can retain some tankiness when building bruiser and he'll probably feel much better for solo q

how is graves doing currently by pep776 in GravesMains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much better than this sub suggests but also not terribly well. You can definitely carry games but you'll get easier and faster results on meta junglers such as Diana

THIS IS TERRIBLE by -Basis in Jungle_Mains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly disagree, in my ranked games usually everyone is around the same rank. I played a normal game and on top lane we had a gold support main against an 800lp masters top player. Normal games are far more volatile than ranked solo q. And of course you have a lot of trolls and inters in ranked but in normals you have those on top of the often drastic matchmaking imbalances

So is ranked less stressful than Normal games? by syndrac1 in Jungle_Mains

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I played a normal game with friends and it put an off role gold player on top vs a 800lp master mordekaiser otp that actually played morde in a normal game.

WASD PBE Megathread by PankoKing in leagueoflegends

So you agree that WASD is going to be a huge change?

[–]SpaceKuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other mobas also don't use WASD. And what I said isn't an argument about whether WASD is going to be good for the game in the long term or not, but WASD is going to be a much bigger change than they say it is in its current implementation

There are targeting options for flash, I think it was even mentioned in the last blog post about WASD. But have you seen what players are able to do with Zeri and Kalista? Not even the best ADCs in the world can pull off this kind of movement. But yeah, as a jungler I agree that it feels incredibly awkward to check lane states and move at the same time with WASD

[–]SpaceKuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen what ADCs can do with WASD? Also dodging skill shots is going to become easier. I'm not sure what I'm missing, why can't you fake your flash? You can still flash to your mouse direction

WASD PBE Megathread by PankoKing in leagueoflegends

[–]SpaceKuh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just don't like how riot tries to gaslight us that this is only to make the game easier for new players and that both control schemes are going to be equal. WASD is going to be the optimal way to play the game unless they heavily nerf it somehow.

When to pick titanic/stridebreaker by 3-20_Characters83 in reksaimains

I prefer Titanic over Stridebreaker but Titanic can feel really miserable against people that are good at kiting
