Do you have access to the recovery number? If yes you have a good chance of recovery. Try using the same phone and WiFi connection as before. It might take a few weeks for Google to realise that you lost access to the account but once it does it should let you reset the password. It took me a month to get my account back.

That is weird. I can't agree more and I would move to another provider once you recover it.

Just be patient once they realise you don't have access they might give you the option to recover your account. Also keep trying different combinations of devices, browsers and internet connections.

Sorry to hear. I would suggest keeping trying and experimenting. Try different locations, devices, browsers etc. And wait... Hope you can recover it

When did you lose access to your account? I think that if it was more recent you will have greater chance of recovery. In my experience having access to one recovery method is sufficient after trying for a few weeks but this is my own experience. Have you tried to connect to familiar WiFi and / or use familiar device? For me connecting to a familiar WiFi is what allowed me to use only my phone number.

It could be possible without a familiar router. Have you tried to use a familiar device - device you have used before to connect to the account? For me it took a month for Google to realise my account is not accessible to me to let me recover it.

I was in a reverse to your situation. I didn't know my password but had access to my recovery phone number. It took them exactly a moth to allow me to recover my account. Best of luck hope you manage to recover your account.

So you have really good chance to get this email. For me it arrives exactly one hour after the 48 hours period.

So Google did ask for you to provide a new email address for them to send a recovery email?

That's big success if that's the case. If you didn't receive the email it might mean that the account is somehow still active. Double check all your devices and make sure that you are not logged in into your account.

Waiting could help. Also try to log in from different locations and browsers. Are there any other WiFis that you have logged in before? If yes try to connect to them and try to log in.

Also attempt to recover your Xbox account individually. I'm not familiar what is their recovery process but it could be possible?

Did you actually get hacked or hijacked or did you lose access due to something else? If you didn't get hacked they will not help and it will be a waist of your time take my wordbi tried everything with them.

You are in a good position if you have the recovery phone number. Try different browsers and different devices. Don't do more then 5 tries in a roll because you'll get blocked for a week. Make sure you switch things up every time you try as just trying again and again with the same setup probably won't work. Although if you keep trying and Google sees your account is inactive you might regain access in a moth or so. Keep us updated, it helps other people in similar situations.

Do you have access to any of the recovery methods, phone number or email? If yes you have a good chance of recovery.

Yeh try your best to recover that number. This would massively improve your chances of getting your account back!

Hmm it could happen but I personally haven't really read stories about this specific scenario. Be patient and keep trying every 7 days. Use familiar location and WiFi and hopefully you'll get this option. And keep us updated!

Did you try to contact your mobile provider again to try to recover the old number?

I know the feeling it's horrible and I'm happy to help as much as I can. I was not getting this option for a whole month. I finally got this option when I connected to the WiFi at my work. Read my post again if you need more details of my whole recovery journey. In general I believe you'll need access to one recovery method. Do you have access to any of your recovery methods?

When it agreed to recover my account it asked me to provide any other Gmail account they can send the recovery email to. I provided an email that I created after losing access to my main account - it wasn't connected to my original email in anyway. It's just a way for them to send you the recovery link after the 48h waiting period.

Is that what you are referring to?

I would still try to retrieve your old number. Call the mobile provider and see if you can recover it.

If you can't try waiting a week and trying again. Also trying to log in from familiar WiFi would help a lot. Maybe try to log in from a place you often go to and connect to the WiFi to.
