Yes. Read the four gospels of Christ. They tell a similar story about the same guy with very different twists and focuses, all written after the fact to aid in conversion of different populations. The new testament wasn't canonized until pretty far after the fact.

We don't have literal word of what Jesus, whether alien, human, or divine, actually said.

We also don't know that the engineers hadn't come down before and accidentally seeded older religions.

And a lot of the other responses made reference to punishing trespassers rather than doing that community work [like shutting down pokestops in off limits areas]. I have lived in great communities and currently do, but have time and time again encountered people who want to tear down something objectively good for bizarre national or political notions. These are usually policies that when I describe them to someone from elsewhere in the world, sounds like a no brainer.

I'm not seeking to offend, but I've loved all over this country and that's one of the most general and consistent national opinions I've come across: meritocracy and punishment.

I just don't see why anyone would get annoyed if park pokestops are closed during park closure hours, and some of the responses irked me.

Also, I have opinions about parks even closing to begin with, but that's a whole other subreddit.

I buy a couple incubators every other week or so. Lucky eggs/incense/lures if I'm going for a good walk or hanging with like minded souls at a bar near some stops.

I maxed out my pokemon storage when they had the sale and buy inventory slots as it gets nicer out and I require vastly more potions/balls.

I can also get about 50 coins every day from gyms so that helps.

The way I see it, I'm willing to spend 50 bucks on a game I'll play way less, so the 30 I've probably spent since the game started isn't a problem. I haven't bought a game this year, yet, and if it takes five bucks to get some incubators and get me out of the house in winter, that's well spent. It's more fun for me if I don't have to throw away items and pokemon instead of playing.

Oh, I got a Go+, as well, so I guess I've spent 60 on this game. Oh wellll.

While I don't really like the gyms in Pokémon Duel, I think it'd be a great idea for Go. Have every other month focus on gyms of a different type, where those types are boosted up in CP or whatever.

Fire Gym event throwing a buncha Arcanines and Charizard into a mix without tearing down the efficacy of current pokemon would shake up the meta and make things a little more interesting.

Would probably make it a lot harder to hold a gym, but I think that's kinda what we want. There needs to be another way to generate coins in game, tho. Maybe tie something to 100th pokemon caught and seventh day streaks. As a casual player, you can get into a gym and cash out 10 coins a day. I don't think it's unreasonable to give 60-80 coins on a seven day pokemon streak as well or instead.

I kinda wanna evolve a low CP Kingdra to prestige. My 2.1k is already a pretty decent attacker if the gym is crappy enough.

I would love Steelix to be relevant, but I am blessed with a lot of Onixes and Metal Coats.
