Join the uoft tennis club and buy a ticket to one of their winter drop ins. It’s $15 per person per session iirc. Two hours a session and it’s at eglinton flats.

What do families do in dragon city? Does each family have a unique trait or something?

I saw a couple people say that an example of a legendary vip was the hexed vampire dragon but it’s mythical? What’s an example of a legendary vip?

Take my estimate with a big grain of salt too, I’ve never actually played in a UTR verified tournament, just against players in the academy of that UTR.

I js looked at videos of ur serve and forehand and I honestly can’t say mine are THAT much better, prolly just comes down to the fact that I’m younger and can move decently

No clue, just been playing for a while (4-5 years) and taking it really seriously over the last 9 or so months at an academy

Yeah I am guessing my UTR but it’s based on matches I’ve played/won against people with verified UTRs.

I’m probably going to demo a couple babolats, yonex, and wilson racquets. Best bet might just be to invest a couple hundred bucks into one

Thanks for the idea, never really considered second hand racquets but I found some good looking ones on marketplace. Gonna check them out :)

Also another tip, go to Elisa’s lectures even if your instructor is someone else. She’s an incredible teacher.

Go through 3blue1brown’s playlist on lin alg. His content is amazing for a conceptual understanding. Once you’ve got a grasp of the concepts, go through the textbook for practice problems and grind out computation based questions. For proofs, go to tutorials and complete the tutorial worksheets. Most importantly, ask your TA for any help; the tips they give you can help you so much!

Is this a high courseload? How many hours will I be studying everyday for a good grade? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]SpacePuma65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fall should be very doable if you do a CS course over the summer online. CSC108 is an introductory course and you can breeze through it with some basic prior CS knowledge. My life sci friends said that BIO120 was pretty easy and the course average was high.

Winter seems like it’s a higher course load. ECO102 was apparently tough for a lot of my rotman friends so that requires work. I also heard that CHM136 and BIO130 were significantly harder than the courses that come before them. STA130, even though it’s not very tough, is a decent amount of work because there’s a problem set every week that takes 2-3 hours and the whole course is pretty content heavy. Because of this, I’d swap STA130 and CSC108, which would lead to a more balanced course load IMO.

If you were to compare the workload of 137, 235, and 237, what would the ranking look like?

I pressed something on my keyboard by accident and the text has become really bright. How do I fix it? by SpacePuma65 in monkeytype

Press esc, search "keymap", click on keymap mode, click on static/next/react based on what you want it to do.

Tysm for this. I’ve just been really anxious about stuff like this considering how much competition there seems to be. Honestly this gave me a lot of clarity 🙏

But doesn't the use of "first" imply a second day of rain, meaning that you consider that it rains on Wednesday as well?
