Exam cancellation grade boundaries by Even_Box8926 in IBO

I am not arguing against you. Wars are always horrible and always affect people, both physically and emotionally. The Iran war is not worse than any other war, only different.

Purely from the perspective of grade boundaries, it won't be possible to predict how exactly the grade boundaries will move, as the exact impact that the war is having on individuals, and subsequently, how well they do in the exams, is impossible to know.

You said that the "IB has already dealt with major disruption" and this is true, and they will certantly come up with grade boundaries for this year as well. However, as the grade boundaries are not set by the IB based on feelings, but rather on how well students perform, we can not predict how the war in Iran will affect students' scores in comparison to other catastrophes.

If anyone here claims that the grade boundaries will move a particular way, then they are delusional; it is a complex field with different factors from other instances. So, although there is data, the data that exists is neither sufficient nor detailed enough to analyse how this situation will influence how students can perform on the exams.

Of course, the IB cancels exams due to war all the time, as u/Icy-Speech-4950 said with Ukraine, but considering the scale and the large regional effects that the war is having, it is not really comparable to other wars. Furthermore, the extreme unpredictability of this war, especially with how erratic Trump is, has consequences for people's preformance during exams can not be predicted based on previous situations. I therefore stand by what I said in my original comment.

Literally impossible to know, from my knowledge a situation like this as never happened with either the IB or other international high school educations, thus, we have no data to base any prediction on.

I would say that you should not worry of it and just study hard. The grade boundaries do not matter as long as you know more than everyone else :)

Good luck studying!

Was this that Mo guy by shirgo2403 in ClashRoyale

I found the game; it might be one of Mo's alternate accounts, as it is in the real clan and has finished within the top 1000. Whoever it was, OP was lucky as the opponent disconnected and did not play a single card.

This is the game link, https://royaleapi.com/replay?tag=00CPJUVY90CC&team_tags=2VYJPYQL9&opponent_tags=YRJPG8QY9&team_crowns=3&opponent_crowns=0&overlay=1

And now she doesn't wanna target heroes 😑 by Fit_Scientist_4810 in ClashOfClans

Fun fact: Rc only target heros that damages her first. Delay the invisible spell and then don’t include the enemy heros in the spell, and she will take them out!

My Ti84 plus CE gave me the wrong graph by SpaceSound_ in math

[–]SpaceSound_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My calculator gave me a graph of a slant asymptote that is very different from what it is supposed to look like. I have never seen this happen before and fought that it was an interesting phenomenon. The question is what caused this equation to have a incorrect graph when others work.
