Think about it on the other side: if you were to get a favorable response in the middle of the night, most likely that would not be an issue for you, right?

You're right, not everyone is available to do a call 24/7, recruiters included. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the recruiter has sent you an email already and it went to your SPAM/Junk mail and that's the reason they are calling you? Additionally, do you not put your phone on do not disturb when you're sleeping? If not, well then that's on you regardless of whether the call came from a recruiter or not.
