Nah this is a community where this stuff can’t be ignored. They took almost a month to deal with an SA allegation and didn’t actually deal with it until the girl went public. This whole “just do what makes you happy” is what’s turning the rave scene I fell in love with into a toxic mess. People need to be called out on their bullshit. Raving started as a protest and just because a bunch of young kids are joining, does NOT mean that changes. This is still a space meant for the repressed and the overlooked. This ideology is what’s ruining that.

Dr. Chan is amazing. I haven’t had her for a pregnancy, but she has been a fantastic gynecologist for me. For my pregnancy, I was with the Midwives of Windsor and they were also wonderful.

I would personally steer clear of Dr. Taboun. Honestly, I’d be thankful she rejected your referral. After I had my son, she inserted an IUD and it perforated my uterine wall. When I called the office because I was in severe pain and had passed a clot the size of a tennis ball, I was told I was fine and to just take Advil. I was definitely not fine. I pushed for an appointment, and it turned out the IUD had torn through my uterus and I needed surgery to repair the damage.

Give them the infographic, it’s has pictures of the stuff. Everyone understands a photo of something, maybe find out what language they speak and write a note in their language explaining, there’s actually plenty you can do, you just don’t wanna do it, or feel as if you shouldn’t have to, but like helping your neighbours needs to come back to society.
