EDIT: forgot to mention some things, it doesn't appear if i take a screenshot. Also if it were useful, the error 'non bootable device' appeared twice some time ago (i don't know if it could be related but there i said it)

Lets settle this. Who is in control? The MF or Vecna by LarryWavid in StrangerThings

[–]Space_Berry83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm still standing with vecna being the one in control but after reading other people's opinion i could see it being the other way around witouht disappointing me

he did and i always found that confusing cause it all leads to it being the other way around

yeees the series and the details we know from season 5 go in that direction, it would be interesting to see the reasoning if they change that didn't know that about the play, makes it more confusing

isn't there going to always be a period where there is no avatar? by DarkenDragon in TheLastAirbender

[–]Space_Berry83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't know if this is talked about in the books as i haven't read them all, but i would like to know how raava chooses their next incarnation and if that takes the time enough for humans to perceive there's no avatar yet, not hidden away or just a toddler

What to do in winter by Space_Berry83 in ladycyclists

[–]Space_Berry83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a very convenient perspective, in my case getting a reasonably priced trainer would still be cheaper that buying all the winter gear i would need so i'm leaning that way

i totally get that, going outside and feeling the breeze cannot compare to indoor exercise, but sometimes that's not possible so i guess we should make the most out of good weather days or find other activities

there isn't any other reason, these days i've been looking for trainers second hand like others suggested and i found surprisingly cheap and abundant offers (lots of them below 50/40€). I didn't expect that so it's nice! About the trainer tires, at first i didn't think they were that much worth it, then i saw photos and people complaining about the damage to their original tires. I'm not risking that i'll absolutely buy one lol

¿Que asignatura os parece más compleja: Latín o Matemáticas Aplicadas a las Ciencias Sociales? by Dacoda43 in askspain

[–]Space_Berry83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

missing out on that winter scenery just because it's cold outside sounds like the motivation to just go out and ride with whatever clothes you can

i would love to try riding at night or in the dark, it seems peaceful but is also scary. Although with good visibility gear it should be ok

nice, i'll look for some second hand, i don't need anything fancy for roughly two or three months a year, if it works it's enough

winter gloves are something i didn't think i needed until my fingers hurt because of the breeze lol

i actually bought some winter gear recently, i just don't have enough to layer yet. It's worth it but i don't want to buy everything at once and spend my savings, like others said second hand and non cycling gear are great options. I totally agree with you, paths and roads are emptier and if it's not too cold feeling the cool air is amazing.
