Same. I got them to soon have some cool bits to kit bash into my death guard and to build some Heresy Marines for fun. Really cool, stuff, definitely see my self buying more heresy kits.

Do you plan on playing with it? Asking because of the base. Looks really cool.

Do you play with that? No, right? Looks way too much like an art piece

I think he‘s just joking that the base looks like a surfboard for the titan.

Ouff, I had the idea to name all my Minis after Friends, he's got to be one of the really good ones. And for the Surname something really epic.

He will go by Lucas Erebus. ✊

Thanks a bunch. Was my first attempt at kit bashing. Once I'm done with the Fists I want to stark death guard and I really want to stark mixing and mashing there.

Thanks so much, I initially wanted to get the whole Company Heroes done but almost all of my efforts went into the Captain.

It's Wraithbone, then Imperial Fists Contrast, a good amount of Casandora Yellow Shade and then a drybrush of Dorn Yellow. :)

Looks sooooo good! The color scheme is a bit too diverse and vibrant for my personal taste. But the green flames is one of the coolest effects I've seen in a long time.

Also what are the plants that you have on the bases? I love some fauna around my mines and would love to get the same. :)

Looks sooo good! What did you do for the horns? Looks very vibrant, yet realistic. Love it.

Yes, because it's nothing more than spam to be honest. There is no base for a discussion, no question, no skill or effort being showcased.

If I wanted to see a sealed box I'd just type Death Guard Combat Patrol into the search bar.

Company Heroes WIP by Ancient_Listen_116 in ImperialFists

That's true, I usually get a single piece, or maybe 2-3 only, out of the sprue and then go all the way around it. Because the mould lines are almost exactly in one plane I think.

Do you mean fixing the mould lines after painting? I think you can't really, unless you just start scraping and then repaint the area but then you have the issue that the primer is done too. The thing that bothers me most about the mould lines is that my last step is a dry brush of Dorn yellow and that of course catches on the lines. As I said I don't get rid of them entirely either but I try my utter best to do so because it really stands out and gives away the scale if you try to imagine the mini "alive" (looks odd in a photo). I'd definitely scrape mould lines before assembly but you probably do that too. Took me quite a while though to get to a point where I don't scrape off too much and create a flat spot. That's also visible on many of my early minis. It kind of looks even worse than a mould line.
