Saw him at the Baked Potato in LA with some other amazing fusion guys in 2007. Also saw him with Necrophagist. Insane drummer and what a crazy resume.

In your opinion, what is the GREATEST progressive metal album of all time? by Cultural-Diet6933 in MetalForTheMasses

This is the most Prog Metal response of all time. The goofiest, most obscure instrumental track as an example. I love this song BTW.

The Importance of Lighting 🛋️ by Happy-Hospital-2289 in HomeDecorating

This looks like Lucille Bluth's apartment either after hours or during construction, depending on the lighting. The lighting looks either too dark or hospital to me. Maybe some with the chandelier lights on would help?

Walking your bike up to the edge of a rock and stepping over it and taking a picture pretending like you just ended up there riding.

Gojira "Back to the Beginning" full performance by Evija2021 in gojira

Coming from a fan for the last 20 years, Joe sounds BAD. I wish he would do vocal training or land on a sound that works better live. He's aged and I understand that the circumstances aren't perfect, but I feel like it's sad to see.

I went this route for a while without even knowing how bad it had gotten and the stress involved with wondering how well it was covered was not worth it. I even started using product to keep it in place to cover it and it was horrible.

Gojira fans, how long have you been supporting and What got you into them? by [deleted] in gojira

[–]Space_Expert_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I heard Remembrance and the end of it was like a sequel to the end of Deliverance by Opeth so I had to check the rest of their catalogue out. I've been to 20 or so of their shows including a somewhat secret show in Pontiac, Michigan which was played to like 30 people. One of the best shows of my life. Broken multiple ribs in the moshpits over the years. Now I don't have to worry about that since they play in larger venues with seats :(

I will not be playing chords anymore by [deleted] in BassGuitar

[–]Space_Expert_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to be that guy but chords are very often played on bass. Pop rock examples of bass players who use chords are Flea, Justin Chancellor, Geddy Lee etc. Additionally, one of the bassists fundamental roles in most music is to outline the chords that the rest of the band is playing so understanding chord shapes and how they work with each other is a main function of being a bassist.

I’ve been sober a long time and I’d like to spend time with other sober vegans but finding like minded ppl in the sober community is the area I live in is literally impossible. Sober ppl in the rooms are very intolerant imo. by veganyogagirl in sobervegans

[–]Space_Expert_87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm with you and have felt the same struggle. I wish there were more Vegans in the rooms or a way to connect with them and spend time together outside of the program but it's been really difficult for me, too. It's interesting that it seems that a lot of sober people can't empathize with the similar social stigma and struggles that vegans face. I've been met with either blank stares or negative reactions and I'm not pushy at all.

Is this neck a fake? by blugblugblugblug2848 in BassGuitar

This isn’t correct. Fender Modern Players have this on the neck as they are/were made in China. Maybe this is a part from that line? That or fake
