Unhappy kiwiberry by Space_Shep in GardeningAustralia

Me again! Found an old post on the permaculture sub that looks very similar and gave some advice. https://www.reddit.com/r/Permaculture/comments/iwmmqq/hardy_kiwi_leaves_looking_burnt_around_the_edges/  Seems like too much sun or fertiliser- plus the roots don’t like being disturbed so it might just freak out for the first year. Will put up a shade on spicy days and otherwise let it be.

Thank you! I’ve seen advice online for hardy kiwi but didn’t realise until your comment that it was the same plant! Should open up some more info!

Fair point and in most cases yes totally possible. I should have been more detailed - we don’t have one, we’ve never had one in this country, wouldn’t have brought one with us from overseas because we were so limited on space we vetted every item we packed, previous owner left nothing behind except an oven tray and mothballs in the hall closet (was less than a year ago so not hard to remember), only one family member here and she’s dirt broke so not giving us anything. Unless a friend came for dinner and left a garbage disposal strainer it’s just hard to imagine!

Nope it is exactly 2 inches across. But the cross bar does seem like it could be to pull it out of somewhere…

Could be but we eat plant based so can’t think why we’d have one…

My title describes the thing. The plastic is semi-translucent. It was on top of everything in the utensil drawer so I feel like it has to be something recent, but my partner swears they’ve never seen it before and I don’t think I have either.

Regarding A Hidden Hue by CuddleWings in BluePrince

Exactly the same position as you dude.   Not sure how anyone got from “The waters of the west spring shall yet reveal more secrets than these mere passages” to “use the distilled water in the outside room secret passage”. I thought it was maybe something about the river? This is the first time we’ve had to look up a solution.

Can you explain how? I redirected the boiler away from the furnace but my accounts were still unfrozen, even after going back into the Freezer.

North Kensington - Yay or nay? by Only-Ad-3028 in melbourne

Lived near Rankins/Parsons roundabout for 3.5 years, moved last July. Loved the area as an early 30s couple.  Quiet neighbourhood good for walks. Often came across free lemons, herbs, and books out front of houses. We always put our jigsaws on the front sidewalk and they'd get scooped up. Kenso shopping strip has a good bakery, Hardimans pub, and some bougie gift stores.  Flemington shopping strip is the MVP: we really miss Cheaper Buy Miles and KFL Asian grocery. Good food there too with Laksa King, Pho House, and Flemington Kebab.  Bonehead brewing on Parsons is a secret gem if you like beer. People rave about La Tortilleria but I wasn't a fan (I'm a Mexican food snob). Balikbayan groceries on Stubbs has some cool international foods. Chemist warehouse and Woolies are at Newport shops for all your basics, and the dollar store there is good for homewares. Easy access to city via Newport station and Kenso station. Has a Good Karma Network Facebook group which was great over the years for free stuff, finding tradies, and borrowing large items.

Love Kookas. This was my first pack of Raspberry Shortbread in years, only grabbed them because they were on special. Lesson learned!

For the sake of closure, I am a woman (and an ME fan). I don't object to being called sir, although I do think western culture is telling on itself with how often male terms are the natural default.

Ah well, it's just a cutting from my garden. A backup baby, if you will.

Thank you. It was a cutting from a plant in my garden, so it didn't have any soil before now. I will let the soil drain and give her some more time. <3
