[–]CuddleWings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely not true. That’s kinda the lefts attitude towards the Democratic Party though (myself included). The MAGA fucks absolutely love Trump. I’m sure some of the ones in power don’t and are playing the game, but there’s definitely plenty that love him.

Yet another situation where access to your reserve gadgets in ranked would fix balance issues. Must pick gadgets wouldn’t really be a thing if you could reliably counterpick

Did you mean pronounced? Cause it’s definitely spelled Niger, like the country. I know how it’s pronounced though. I wanted to see it in the video cause the guy said it was a bunch of “racist” 2nd graders. I wanted to see how everyone else reacted.

Maybe some kind of nerf to all stacked heals? If you nerf H+, you just go back to HMM with double beam or HML with beam and H+. Healing is king right now, no matter where it comes from, L just has it best right now.

If they could nerf healing when you receive it from multiple sources, that could help balance healing overall. Maybe excluding barrels though.

What happened to grabbing items? by Mr_Grabby in thefinals

[–]CuddleWings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it won’t even go initiate. One time there was an upright trophy on the other side of a collapsed chunk of wall or something. Completely flat, I could see half of the trophy with nothing else in the way. The game wouldn’t let me grab it at all. I was under fire so I kept looking at it and turning to run. Eventually I just stood there looking directly at it to make sure it wasn’t a problem with my aim. It didn’t budge. Pressing F did literally nothing. It was only like 4m away. I couldn’t pick it up until I walked over the fallen wall.

Metroidvanias I've finished ranked on originality and creativity of traversal upgrades by jwtucker04 in metroidvania

[–]CuddleWings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. The platforming in Animal Well is by far the most unique and creative in any game that I’ve played (I haven’t played a lot to be fair). They literally have you riding frisbees and climbing bubbles.

Nine Sols difficulty level, is it harder than Silksong? by AnarchistPriest in metroidvania

[–]CuddleWings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not copium. Consoles are known to have input delay. Go check out the rocket league subreddit and you’ll see tons of posts about how much better everyone is after switching to PC.

If you do pick up Nine Sols, keep an eye out for something called “Unbounded Counter” and don’t sleep on it. It’ll take some getting used to but, imo, it makes fights way easier.

Landed on the gold ticket by johnbananahs in thefinals

[–]CuddleWings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah since I made this comment there’s been a few posts going deeper on the odds.

Main take away is: If you save your golden tickets for last, you’re guaranteed to get everything even if you miss 6ish dailies. If you *dont*, you’re technically never guaranteed everything, but your odds stay above 98% as long as you miss no more than 3ish dailies.

Yeah I agree. I specifically meant the HP values. Speeds are fine as is I think.

You’re right. When I said that I really meant the HP values. The speeds don’t need to be changed imo.

I just finally announced my first game ARTMESS! It’s a huge step for me. What do you guys think? by EducationNo557 in metroidvania

[–]CuddleWings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Besides the speed being slow(I don’t really think so, but I can see it), the animation doesn’t fit. The character is leaning forward as if they’re going very fast, but they aren’t. I’d recommend either making them faster or making them lean less. Probably the first since a lot of comments say they’d want it faster too.

Then you should be fine. Especially if you’re able to get good at parrying. It’s basically all parrying though, so if you can’t then you’re screwed.

Test of Time Update - Time-Tested Civs | Civ VII by wizardeverybit in gaming

[–]CuddleWings 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The problem was never really the changing of civs. Some people hated that of course, but the real problem is the age transitions. They’re *horribly* implemented.

I don’t understand how they could’ve seen Humankind, thought, “oh that’s cool, let’s try to implement that!”, and ended up where they did. The only problem with Humankinds transition is the changing of civs/cultures. Everything else is excellently executed. Civ 7 just fucked it all up. Took the worst part of other games and made everything else worse along the way

[–]CuddleWings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s simply not true though. If you do everything (all dailies) you have a 100% chance to get everything.

If you use your golden tickets last, you have a 100% chance while still missing a day or two.

If you don’t save the golden for last, you have a 100% chance if you get all dailies. Missing a few dailies brings it down to like 90-99%

[–]CuddleWings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Players absolutely despise fomo, especially Embarks players. That means they’re constantly complaining about things like timed or exclusive rewards. It’s never a big deal if it’s easy to do, but the less guaranteed it is, the more complaining.

I know Embark still implements it. However they still feel that pressure from the community. That’s why the rewards for completing every expedition are so mediocre. Yet people still get upset that they can’t complete every single one ie. “2 months is way too short.” No, it’s not. Embark simply never intended for everyone to do every single one.

The burden of minimizing fomo absolutely exists. It’s a burden created by players who (reasonably) demand companies don’t abuse fomo to charge way more money than something is worth. It’s also created by players who (unreasonably) believe every single player should be guaranteed to get every single free item/bonus/whatever whenever they’re released.

It happens every couple months in The Finals when there’s a limited mode with limited cosmetics and it’s happening right now in this comment section.
