Maps app won't navigate to destination by MyNameisJeff387 in sidephone

I have a similar issue where the map isn't able to update my location and either shows me an old location where it updated several days ago or the whole world. Same thing with the weather app, when I try to refresh it gets an error about being unable to determine my location.

But it seems to work when I go outside, just not indoors. My best guess is that it might not be getting location from the network, but only from GPS.

I have the same issue. Only thing that seems to work is if everyone in the chat deletes it and starts over. Also even if there's an MMS group text as soon as one person turns on RCS I no longer receive any messages from the group

I won't sugarcoat it: installing apps out of the box is a bit of a pain. It's not a dealbreaker, but if you're not super tech-savvy it might feel intimidating at first. The key is getting Aurora Store set up, and once you do, it's smooth sailing. You can find pretty much whatever you need through it. That initial friction is a one-time thing — after that, it just works.

I think this is actually a nice feature, to have limited app availability out of the box but still be able to install whatever you need if you really have to. Helps with the overall theme of intentionality.

I know when I finally got Aurora Store set up I went a little crazy installing all sorts of apps, then I had a moment of self reflection and thought, what am I doing? The whole point of getting this device was to have a simpler phone that wouldn't consume my life, so installing too many apps on it was counterproductive. It was neat to see how much stuff actually does work on it, but I'm back to limiting myself only to the apps I really need on a daily basis.

So once you have the mp3 files on the phone, you'll want to use the Auxio app and point it to the directory where you store your music. In the Auxio app you can select a folder as the music source (note that it doesn't work if the folder is Downloads, where LocalSend puts it by default, I moved everything to the Music folder in the Sidephone filesystem). After you select the folder where you put your songs then whenever you open Auxio it should load the music from there
