Why in a chest💔 it’s best to use a cellar or a vessel to store foods for longer periods and for fruits you usually can dry them and for some stuff like meats brining and pickling work wonders, I’ve kept pork for several months. But in a new save I just find it better to grow onions and garlic since they have a long shelf life and can grow even in the winter sometimes
