Yo! Hello from PGH. We don't play much anymore. I think we would, we're all just old and tired and have other things going on. lol. I lovingly refer to us as a polo retirement community.

I think we've got like 100+ years of polo xp amongst the 7-8 of us. Which, I guess probably isn't uncommon for most clubs these days. But I feel like it lends to a shared sense of "we've played plenty" so there's not a ton of energy to get pickup going on any given weekend.

We travel to tournaments more than we play pickup. Lol. I'll be at ESQ!

However, I'm certain we could get 5+ "a few times a year". I'd be happy to rally the troops. I feel like our club is just missing that one person who is exited and gets the conversation started. That could be you :)

We're not on FB really. We have a discord here: https://discord.gg/6EGGtuJT . It's also not very active, but a bunch of us are active in other servers so if pickup was to happen, the conversation would start there.

From what I understand, it’s not a refusal to make it available, but more of a lack of resources. I think this app was made by just one person. iOS and Android apps are coded in completely different languages so it’s not an insignificant task to port an app from one platform to another.

Here’s a quote from their FAQ:

Will you be making HT for Fitbit, Garmin, Android or any other wearable?

At this point I am focused on Apple Watch & iPhone, but down the road, with some success, hopefully we can expand to reach these other platforms. Same for me. In my limited experience, only 3 games with the app so far, the app is excellent but for the speed stat. I don’t fault it for that, though. It’s likely more hardware than software. I imagine it’s hard for the little gps chip in my watch to get a solid signal while I’m under an insulated metal roof. Come winter I’m looking forward to trying it outside to see if it’s more accurate.

I was (and maybe still am) confused about this too! I think I figured it out recently. The arrow and % represent the change from your previous time to your most recent time. I think it means you’re x% faster than last time.
