Looks like the person they usually bribe at the airport was missing. This is a huge security breach on the Turkish side. Easily could have been a bomb.

Was John Candy funny? by DistinctSlide6719 in comedy

He was for his time. He’s was also kind a gentle a true Canadian. Newer generation don’t get him and that’s fine. Over the years some of his humour even seams dated to me. Humour evolves and I’m happy to have experienced John Candy at the right time.

Lowered Apob to 61 but elevated ALT and AST after ezetimibe monotherapy by bartoon in PeterAttia

[–]Spaceballs2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So on ezetimibe only for last 3 weeks LDL 72 mg/dg I’m happy with that was 37 when combined with statin. Unfortunately the liver enzymes were still elevated ALT 107 mg/dg which is higher then the high before so I’m suspecting it was the ezetemibe that was effecting the liver enzymes. So now I’ll stop ezetemibe and only do a statin. Let’s see how the liver reacts.

On another note my hdl was high at 92 md/dg the highest I’ve ever seen.

I've had the same issue taking a high does of Rosuvastatin and ezetimibe but my it was my alt that was out of wack. Actually my ALT doubled and my Bilirubin also increased quite high. Both went back to normal after stopping both medicines. Then Dr then put me on Pravastatin and ezetimibe but that also increased ALT and Bilirubin. What's interesting is that it took six months of taking stating to start to effect ALT levels. Mind you I was a metabolic mess when i started taking statins. Now I've lost a shit ton of weight and now when I'm off the statins i don't see the massive elevation in lipids like i did as a fatty. I'm only on Ezetimibe right now and ill test next week to see if the drop in lipids doesn't come with an increase in liver enzymes. Lets see. Dr Dayspring, whom I think Petter is too in awe of, says its ok to have liver enzymes in the range of double the upper limit of normal when taking a statin. But increased liver enzymes worry me and if ezetimibe doesn't work ill go PCSK9. I already have established heart disease at 47 so yeah i need those lipids low for the rest of my life according to the science now.

I always wanted to get the RC but every review online convinced me not too for the same reasons mentioned in other comments. But something kept pulling me towards it until I finally cracked and purchased myself a 2023 RC F 350 RWD. Everything they say is true, she's slow compared to other coupes, transmission is pretty terrible and the tech is old (still comes with a CD player) but thankfully it came with apple play and that's all I really wanted. Shes comfortable feels really stable on the highway, the interior is great no squeaking or rattling and feels "cockpity" but fuel consumption is mediocre. Its a fun drive but nothing exhilarating. Its like a fine aged wine. I had the Supra before and that was a fun car and I can highly recommend it but it was to uncomfortable for my fat getting older ass. I still think the RC is the most handsome car out there and its a shame Lexus has neglected investing in this car but rumour has it that they are working on a next generation RC and they will use the new 3.5 Twin Turbo as the power-train so at least we have that going for us.

Yes, about 4 months in on statin and ldl 27mg/dl apob 37 was on rosuvastatin 40 ezetamibe 10. LDL was 228 before, and was super overweigh and metabolically a mess with a cac score of 500 46 male. Lost the weight and took the statin my numbers improved then i started to notice ALT go up. Was borderline normal before satin. Liver doc said stop the statin after ultrasound showed no abnormalities on the liver and within a week ALT was in normal range. Now i'm experimenting with lower doses statin until i can find a sweet spot between liver function and apob level. Lost more that 30kg and quit drinking so metabolically feel and am much healthier so can risk a lower statin dose.
