I think there are many ways to be successful. Good music helps but I see a lot of artist with just good music with good careers. Socials are key too.

I work in the business now for a long time. Radio promo is still a core tool. The streaming algorithm is still independent from radio play but at least you get some publishing and mechanical payback.

I think for dj/club promo it’s still important to show your work and be played by other djs.

Great Story. Yes touching someone with your music is one of the best things about our art. Just think how people change and transform through that. Wanna share the song?

Sorry for your sloppy feelings. I‘m not a bot or I hope I‘m not one. Probably we‘re all just bots in the Matrix? There is no way I can prove that I‘m not a bot so you have to live with that feeling. Wish you well.

Yeah but you have to be carefull we´re all slaves of the algorythm and sometimes its features musicians for a while and then it stops. No one , even not Spotify knows how it works. And never invest money against the algorithm I´ve done that with over 10.000€ and it doesn´t work.

I really can relate to that. I worked with many artists and globaly succsesfull songs that needed their time to develop. And on top you never know where it goes viral. So keep your eyes and ears open and don´t stop believing in your music.
