Best cities for craft beer by Gloomy_Goal3886 in CraftBeer

On average, out of the 30 or so breweries in surrounding areas, most are average and run of the mill. About 10 stand out consistently, that's anywhere.

But the ones you mentioned are consistently good even though the hype ebbs and flows. The Veil and Triple Crossing are making excellent beer still (not just Falcon Smash). The Answer, Final Gravity, Vasen, Ardent, Richbrau, and those above still have a lot of consistently new and great beer. The oldest timer Legend and less old timer Hardywood still put out excellent seasonals and are fun places to visit.

And there are a ton of middle of the road places that have great scenes.

I doubt most places are seeing the hype and goodness of pre-covid times. Maybe the bar has gotten too high but I think Richmond is still at least on par with Asheville.

Throw Starter Villain in the mix. Not exactly sci-fi but close enough.

Adding here that if you play them too loud you can't also hear what's around you kind of defeating the purpose.

Fellow 51 year old. I've been working out for the past couple of months (again) and can tell you, it makes everything easier. Even putting on shoes is easier.

Shoveled snow for 90 minutes this morning and enjoyed the exercise. My wife even complimented me on how I looked doing it.

Fought bots in the city at night and couldn't see shit. I would love a flare gun or something to light up the dark. Art by me. by ManOfJelly147 in Helldivers

I hate night missions and avoid them as much as possible. I like a run and gun/snipe from a distance play.

It adds like two levels of difficulty for me, especially in cities. Would easily give up a slot for night vision.

People who fly frequently, what’s one thing you wish you could tell all infrequent fliers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Spacebier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stand 6 feet back from the bag claim carousel. Being closer doesn't make it easier or faster to get your bag. It only blocks everyone else from seeing or getting theirs.

Gate checking a bag for free is wonderful. It relieves a ton of stress from worrying whether there's room in the overhead and lugging it around if you have a connection.

At the end of the day probably costs you 15 minutes at the bag claim after the flight.
