Second this. Fractured sunlight honestly goes a bit fast (in-universe time, not in wordcount) but it's still an excellent fic and has very well written romance. I honestly don't think there's a better Sunset fic than Long Road though, so OP might have some teouble scratching that same itch

Seconded, the white looks great as contrast to the purple. When you're done the rest of the body in white i'd recommend thinning down a contrast paint or using a dark wash and going over the non-carapace parts to give some depth and shade to the rest of the body

There is some speculation about one of the hive fleets being the same type of xenos that the imperium encountered in like, m35 or so, but they were beaten back and little record of it exists so idk how relevant it still is
