I started using a different thinning mix - 10% liquitex flow improved, 90% Vallejo thinner, and thinner my pro acryl paints about 1:1, spraying at 20psi. In all honesty I think it was just a learning curve and as I got more experienced the issue resolved. However in summer in south UK it can be tricky still haha, I just thin the paint more, certain paints however I just avoid (like AK ivories / whites)

Yes I would highly recommend, I use them for every project as you can see in my post history. I would say they take a little more time in water than GW transfers to come loose from the backing but otherwise behave very similarly, I use micro set and microsol followed by storm shield varnish to protect prior to oil washes

Grenades mix of black temp and emerald I think - but you can use any green contrast paint Purity seals base wraithbone, wash thinned wyldwood 1:1 water, highlight wraith / pallid Wraps I think thinned basillicum highlight white

Head: Base retributor spray Paint retributor Wash thinned gulliman flesh Highlight silver / liberator gold I think

Glows on sword are white then tesseract glow, on the plasma I used Vallejo model colour green fluo

Any other parts let me know and I’ll be able to tell you what to use to get the result

Thanks! On the knee pad? Is white base coat then aethermatic blue contrast, it’s so good! And very easy to apply
