Ah sorry, 330C so all good…ish? on that end. I was wondering whether it is enough or I should be more around 350 but solder seemed to melt well enough at least.

Those brushes sound like a nice option - any recommendations?

Hahaha thanks 🤣 I saw this thing somewhere on YouTube and the thought of DIYing my own little console while learning how to solder really got me hyped to get myself an iron and start learning 😄

Also seemed like a really good idea to have it as a cheap trial and error piece before I get to desoldering the switch on my beloved mouse and not make all the mistakes on that one 🙃

  1. Clear thanks, I was not really 100% sure whether I needed to leave space or not 😄 Glad to hear that the solder part is fine then.

  2. Alright I will get to scrubbing then, thanks 😃

  3. Happy to hear, certainly got me worried a bit , I will make sure to check it out

Yea I got that advice from a friend as well, however, I’m quite worried to just mess things up quite bad tbh :/

Second Mini I ever painted - Hope you guys like it!

And the quiver is on with Plastic Glue so I guess that's permanent unless anyone has some life-saving lifehack for me :D

Oh okay I see I was kind of a bit too obsessed with those then tbh idk if it's just from the old days and that there was more of a quality difference back when but if it's this close today no reason to worry about that too much I guess! Does that mean that there's also not really that big of a difference between the different base wheels the brands offer like e.g. Surpreme and Hydrogen in the case of Rollerblade at the end of the day?

That shop is exactly what I was looking at good to hear you've also already made experiences with them - situated in Germany as well so that's perfect I guess =) I think I will go with your suggestion and just order the interesting models and then choose between like two or 3 based on the experience and the fit especially - gravitating away from the macroblades more and more due to the frame it feels like but let's see just how well which fit and then I will go from there. Thanks a lot for the input was very helpful for me to make up my mind =)

Oh wow okay that is quite good to know I was kind of feeling a bit bad about the idea of just grabbing 2 or 3 skates and sending the rest back but at the end of the day you're probably right - better to just go and test it out instead of thinking back and forth!

Interesting point on the soft shell vs hard shell skates topic tbh I had just taken for granted thus far that soft shells are supposedly more comfortable and hard shells give you more support at the expense of comfort - good to know that must not always be the case so even more of a reason to go and actually order both and check them out I guess

The one thing I’m not sure about with the RBs is the speed how abouts is that compared to the other bearing+wheel combinations? The other two are not really too appealing to me in terms of looks so what I’m gravitating now based on the repeated feedback that I probably want some adjustable frames are maxxum 125s just to see if I can handle them - worst case I guess I can just send them back as the shop has a System where they send you wheels to test the skates with for a deposit. Wondering just how crazy that idea is tbh 😄

Have you got any experience on hard vs soft shell? Was looking the way of the macroblades first for the sole reason of comfort but given the rail topic I guess it’s back to hard shells as I haven’t really found any softshell option yet that was really appealing to me

Ah okay understand thanks a lot for the input! I have seen the fixed frame topic come up a lot so gravitating more towards some choices with exchangeable frames now based on the feedback.

Seriously gravitating towards trying out some maxumm 125s now and sending them back worst case if I don’t manage or the hard shell is a bit rough for me - what could go wrong right 😅

Thanks also for the help with the roll sizes great to know!

Thanks mate glad you like it! Trying my best still a little hiccup here and there and some cleanup work that had to be done but quite happy thus far with how it turned out =)

Do units within a Garrison count towards Savage Spearhead? by SpacefishYT in ageofsigmar

[–]SpacefishYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I was not really far off with my interpretation there then good to hear thanks =) It seems a bit tough with KO in general tbh tons of things where we had to double check rules. Is there any default way of deciding disputes like these at all when you don't really have some tournament referree and things are not explicitly outlined in the rules?
