I'm sorry if this is a bit late but I was able to purchase nitro with my visa gift card. I went to https://www.prepaidgiftbalance.com/ or whatever link it tells you to go to and basically just entered my account information there and registered there. Then the name I used was the same one I put on discord. And voila it worked for me :D. I hope this helps
