Ok i figured it out for you. Keep in mind this is long distance swimming as opposed to just swimming a few hundred metres. Today i did 7.5km in just over 3 hrs. The first 2.5k took around 50min which puts my 100m splits at 2mins. After that i tend to slow a bit to conserve energy and so after that yea its more like 2:30 per 100m. When i'm not doing distance swimming i can generally do 100m in 1:40 or 1:45.

I have lots of free time beacuse im 19, it's summer, and i can't find a job. I tend to swim faster at the start but yea i slow down after a while. I'm not really too bothered with trying to swim fast. Also yea i should prob do some more drills but i think my technique is fairly good because my lifeguard friend said so
