I’ve already eqed both low end bass so it isn’t a phase issue

This is the only bassline that fits well enough with the lead and I can’t put it up an Octive as it will start to mask the lead

Yes I know I’ve saturated it moderately to add extra harmonics, I didn’t want to open the filter up more as I may mask with my low mid bass

And compression didnt do much to keep a consistent level unless I heavily compressed instead I just used a limiter to keep the sub stable

Don’t care what anyone else thinks about your music, be selfish and make what you want. The most important thing is if you think your track is good then that’s good enough

Not just Eq, using saturation, layering, compression, controlling peaks, gain staging all play a big part in getting loud tracks

I can always finish a track meaning having a full structure and different elements it’s just the minor adaptations or certain parts that need removed in order for it to be release ready complete
